    Go and test it if there is any crash at Frozen Volcanic at all?



    Nothing's conflicting your mod and everything seemes to work fine as long i don't go to a Frozen Volcanic Planet. Weird.

    No other errors are in your log. I suggest finding out what uses that oil lantern.

    Thanks very much! I didn't know where to start looking for the error. After playing around with the mods a bit, it was confirmed that it's acting up with something from Better Pets 1.1. http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/better-pets.2926/

    Or maybe you didn't give us the right log? Try starting game, only do what cause you to crash again and give us the starbound.log file.

    Yea, whatever you posted had no crash from a planet visit. Try again with a new log, see what happens. I've visited several Frozen Volcanics thus far without issue.

    Either way, I assume it's a mod conflict. I haven't touched those since I first implemented them (at least that I remember)

    Hi sayter, i come to you seeking help D:.

    I can't seem to find a way to unlock "reactive burst", i have made almost all genes on the console except the ice gene the void one and the eye one and strength one, I've made just about everything else save maybe some tier 3 stuff.

    Come on throw me a bone here i need those hellfire seeds, found one and im in love with them :3.

    Few pages back you mentioned you will be working on the ocean biomes.... I would like to make a request.

    REDUCE THE PINK SAND GENERATION RATE!!!

    I've spent the last 40 mins jumping through systems, trying to find a natural sand ocean planet system to set up my RP series on these mods... and still haven't found a suitable location. So very frustrating.

    It's a random chance based on the hue variations for the biome. Removal makes them much less distinct. Such is life :)[DOUBLEPOST=1433127635][/DOUBLEPOST]

    Was exploring a "dead planet, baked by its sun" and discovered some odd terrain with spiderwebs and such everywhere. One bit of such terrain formed a giant, empty square sitting atop a Floran dungeon. I assume this is because the biome and the dungeon both genned in the same place.

    This was in the previous update, though, and I forgot to get coordinates prior to regenning my universe for the new version. Apologies. If I encounter the issue again I'll try to find more details.

    Looks like I need to up my sacrifice quota to the the RNG gods then... *sigh*

    And I'm only looking at the systems that have the natural color to them... and then beam down to see pink, red and purples everywhere. :sparta:


    EDIT: or perhaps add some white, sandy beaches :)

    Adding new color types would likely be easier to implement than removing existing ones. Add some variations of brown dirt and white sand and implement them instead of trying to get rid of the more alien pink sands (though really, that does sound interesting for a locale). Could make for a good submod or unrelated mod.

    hue [ -25, -15, 0 , 15, 25] but any variation of numbers. The numbers are the "hue steps" itll take in a 360 color wheel from the generic color of the block.


    no real way to predict, since there are no actual color values ysed.

    Oh really? Huh. I thought it was variations of the actual dirt, sand and such, explaining why dirt is sometimes green, sometimes brown, sometimes blue... so it's randomized. That's actually neat.

    Well, lets say sand is Yellow naturally. if it has a hue edit of -45....what does that even mean, exactly? What is it's DEFAULT value, then? That's what makes it tricky. I have no way to "guess" , exactly. There is probably someone out there that has come up with the actual solution to this , but it's not something that I will lose sleep over :)

    Is there a way to only give it a variance of, say +- 10 in a mini mod? Just curious. I've not looked at modding this game yet.

    yes , its quite simple really. Just make a .patch file and edit only the hue value.

    or just "cheat" with admin mode and add the sand you want by hand.

    Also i have a question, do the new corrupted moon subbiome's spawn in all moons?, this means metal, frozen, crystal and plain moon?.

    As for the corruption: They don't in all actuality appear on all moons. In fact, "moon" is somewhat of a misnomer. The Corruption can be found in : Tidewater biomes (in the Corruption sub-biome) , most FU biomes that aren't "weird-assed" (in the Corrupted Forest sub-biome).

    It's supposed to appear in moons, too. Except that I forgot to include that part in the update :) I'll have a fix up for that crystalplant shortly with it turned on properly. Currently it will result in a travel-loop because I put "corruptedmoon" in the biome file instead of "corruptmoon"

    at that point, it will be found NOT only on moons, but also on a few other biomes. You'll know it when you see it.
