    it doesn't matter if you jump if you land in the small pools of water your completely immobile.
    Can't remember how many times I died when fighting Dreadwing cause I landed in water.
    It's because of this that I feel this mod breaks the game with the way the liquid and some terrain mechanics has been altered.

    I can't seem to load my character at all after updating to the lastest version posted here. I made sure to reinstall the older version, remove every single item my character was wearing, and he still won't load with the lastest version installed. Something is broken, or my character has something removed from the mod that broke him completely. RESTART? =_=

    edit: I noticed i had some quests based around the sampling array, I completed them and tried again, but no deal.

    There are ways to combat snow and ice, readily available for crafting. Plants, and gear.

    I have a low-tier craftable item that will kill the snow problem in the near future for just such circumstances.

    In the meantime, if you extract the modpack you can edit the file directly to reduce the effect. However, the snow isn't that big a problem anymore, since I significantly reduced its slowdown with the last update, and even more with the new one.[DOUBLEPOST=1432737001][/DOUBLEPOST]

    error log please. You should know this by now! Chances are it's something you can fix without much issue. I suspect it might have to do with the array changes, though I may be mistaken.

    Except water has not been edited in any way, shape or form. It behaves exactly as it always has. The water, therefore, is not the fault of FU. Only FU liquids are directly edited, save for liquid interactions and minor details that don't affect the way a character interacts (movement wise) with those liquids.


    I'm doing a play-through with a new character , so I'll see how the boss fight with dreadwing plays out and be able to see more directly how things are affected.

    Yea. I removed those because the sampling array has been removed. I forgot about the codex issue though. Shit.


    Okay, guess i need to re-add those. Damnit all. I'd forgotten that codexes cause those issues if removed, and my characters dont have any of the codexes currently, so I missed them in testing.

    I'll get that fixed up.

    the github thing is probably my own fault. Was messing around with network stuff @ home last night, and my home network is now displaying only "Administrator" as an option rather than the computer itself. Permissions thing, though I didn't actually change anything that should do this.


    Anyhow, there is a fix for your issue posted up on the update notes, Yanazake. Read the bright green text and do what it tells you :) It's a pain, but it's the best I can do for now. I'll have a "real" fix up shortly, though. It'll just take a bit. I'm having some access issues from the office currently.

    Literally nothing is going my way this week, it seems.

    I can do that, no problem :up: Been messing with extraction to get things from the game some time ago, so no biggie... But i'll help some people, in case they don't know what to do.

    Paste the following text on notepad, edit it to have your starbound location folder and save the file as .bat instead of .txt - run it and keep following Sayter's instructions after the window closes:

    hmmm I think it'll be a problem to fix this from the office at all, seeing as I don't have a way to unpack the mod from the modpack file here. It'll have to wait for this evening.

    Unless you had a way to share the unpacked version with me directly (dropbox maybe?), in which case I can get it done much sooner.

    Yea, its likely water + snow together. They will team up like that. I don't recall there being much water in that boss fight though. Just walk a ways over away from the little pools. Then you can hop like a crazy bunny with only minor slowdown :)

    Or you can cheat to get past the boss.

    Well, i'm sure both would take a while because my upload speed is terribad. Still, 2k files to go. Give it about half an hour or less.

    And the upload is done, hope you can use that at all. (i almost uploaded the older version instead of the current one >_< also, found an irradiated world with some damaging rain and a specially large underground hole. If it wasn't for a single lone block in the middle of nowhere, i'd have fallen to my death.)

    odd. okay, thanks. ill reupload that one. My guess is i copied over your stuff before it was done uploading to the dropbox, so some files got missed.
