    heat protection works...just not the vanilla one.

    You can make yourself some Dragonsbeard and eat that to survive. Or you can make a Field Generator pack. Or a suit of heat-resistant armor. You can't "cheat" with a tech nano-skin :)

    I made my way through all the quests, gathered everything possible, explored many worlds, crafted a lot of things without finding a bug (I use the modpack version). Wow.
    The only thing that bothers me is the fact that dark gas and helium 3 are in huge square caverns that acts like a outdoor area. This is quite odd.

    Yea, I'll have to mess around with helium and dark gas a bit more to make things work out better. I don't mind the large caverns, but I don't want them THAT large. I think the better option will likely end up being microdungeons of various shapes and sizes specific to the biomes that use the gasses.

    And since you made it through all the quests without issue, that means the previous guy reporting PGIs is incorrect. Also a nice thing. Thanks for confirming that for me :)

    I am a huge fan of this mod. it feels like the game really needed this. This might be presumptuous of me but i would really like both this mod and the "Science" (http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/science.2466/) mod to be made into a single mod. I mean, both are moving on the same path, if combined then i can't imagine the level of growth and content that could potentially come of it. I REALLY wish to play it in such a way, thus i am stating it here with a lot of hope that this dream of mine can come true. I have nothing but praises for the author of this mod and wish you luck and good health in your future endeavors.

    I've already spoken with the author, though I'm not sure where that stands at present. I have enough worries of my own with FU, so I don't want to jump on it until I get what I need to completed. After that, I have no issues expanding more. But right now there is still other content to add, and a ton of files to edit in the immediate future (rebuilding the plant crafting into "tiers" of plants, with actual blueprint unlocking required, and reworking effects of a great many plants to suit these changes. Right now the spreadsheet is daunting.)

    That said, we both saw merit in the idea. But implementation is the thing. I'll likely end up using his generator concept, though, when the time comes to do so.

    now i have another question: how to make graphene?

    i really love this mod, but i feel it need a wiki or a complete manual or guide to look things up.

    i stuck upon some quests often because i could not find out how to make things or where to find it. sometimes i have to look into the modpak and search for recipe(sometimes in vain).

    to ask questions here in this post feel inconvenient(also to search for things in this post), and other than being grateful to you(author), i don't want to bother you with petite questions over and over again(same questions maybe have been raised many times in the past)

    consider this mod's vast scope and content, maybe you guys should ask chuckle fish to open a sub-forum to discuss things.

    @hythl0day The concept of this mod is that you unlock new recipes by crafting. Try crafting things you didn't make yet and you'll unlock graphene and many other recipes.

    What Inny said, exactly. Just like vanilla starbound, you need to actually explore, or create things to get new things.

    The recipe for Graphene is listed under the sampling array on the mod overview page. And mentioned in the codex , if I recall correctly.

    It appears that the game is crashing in stable when I attempt to start with the mod. Before I start posting logs, etc. I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this as a result of a recent patch.

    (The error that is supplied with the crash seems to be very generic)

    I'm going to assume shit is broken in the new stable update?

    Let me know any errors you see that prevent play. There are some changes to weapons, specifically, that I'll need to adjust stats and add in things for. Nothing too huge.

    That said, there could be other things causing issues. I won't be able to test until this evening (possibly not until tomorrow or thursday though)

    first and foremost, according to diffs, will be the new properties for weapons

    accuracy
    inaccuracy
    projectilecount

    Not sure what else is broken.

    When is the new update coming out? My game is unplayable right now with FU installed and I'd need to wipe my entire universe to get the game to work, which I'd really not like to do.

    Guy, the update has barely even been out for a few hours. I'm at work. I work full time, and am a dad and husband. It'll be ready when I get it ready :)

    The fix to make it playable is simple enough, and I should have it out tonight if I can find the time. It's a liquid issue, due to them adding their own swampwater. FU swampwater will therefore be phased out, since it will no longer be necessary.

    And also, if you read the [ STABLE ] update notes, they explicitly state that for some of the new things to work, you'll likely need to wipe your universe.

    Yepper.

    Actually, I am rather looking forward to the next couple updates. The combat changes will only benefit FU, since weapons will now be useful for more than one tier. I'd love to pal around with some of the lesser weapons for longer, without being butt-raped by monsters :) I'm sure many of you have favorites that aren't useful after their initial tier too.

    I'll need to scope out a lot of this new stuff tonight or the day after. So much for the other things I wanted to do this week.

    I don't suppose the quick fix is something we could do ourselves as a stopgap, like deleting or changing an existing file?

    I just wanted to take this for a spin today for a few others, and if the fix is easy enough, I dont mind doing it locally. Don't need to have anything long term.
