    im at wits end with that shit, honestly. I'm at the point where instead of tinkering in 100 files again I just want to fucking remove them. This is beyond annoyance.

    Code:
    {"op":"add",
        "path":"/wildblisterbushHarvest",
        "value":[[0, {"fill":[{"item":"blisterbushplantfood"}],
        "pool":[{"weight":0.7, "item":"blisterbushplantfood"},
            {"weight":0.3, "item":"plantfibre"}],
        "poolRounds":[[0.7, 2], [0.3, 3]]}]]},

    harvest file has no seeds rewarded

    Code:
      "objectItem" : "dnasample",

    and the main seed file only gives out dna samples.

    What the hell?

    Hence why I haven't bothered to fix it. Wild seeds is less annoying than hours of code searching for no reason, to accomplish nothing.

    I think it is an engine bug when destroying a wild crop without harvest. Better tell the devs about it.
    Founds : Miracle grass, Hellfire, Blister pods, Biscorn.

    Edit: I just harvested them I had in my laboratory (from wild seeds) and destroyed them. It gave me wild seeds again. Bug confirmed.

    Yea, that's what I figure too. They'll be revamping farming soonish anyhow, and it's not a game-breaking bug in any case.

    I'm toying with some new plant-based scripts anyhow. Once I figure out what I can do with them, I may append it to all wild crops and have it auto-kill them with no harvest at all beyond the DNA samples. (if you check the github master right now, Aquapods can only be planted in liquid. This is, quite obviously, a marvellous development that can be expanded on a LOT for some really cool shit! Thanks @xxxswatelitexxx!)

    Nanowrap bandages no longer work in 1.4.0. Don't have time to test any other bandages. Verified it was Frackin by reverting to 1.3.9 and testing them.[DOUBLEPOST=1428801409][/DOUBLEPOST][IMG] dat trianglium doe

    I haven't touched the nanowraps or any vanilla healing stuff until something I have just put in recently that isn't yet in public apart from github. But that's the standard bandage. So it wouldn't affect you at present, so I don't know why that would be.

    Also: Rockin the mining guns. Nice.

    In other news, Burst Jump tech in my version is now working quite well. It's pretty useful without being too OP, and just fun as hell. With Spacefarer armor on, you get 5 jumps before energy is gone. With those 5 jumps you can do a great deal of damage, and destroys (no collecting them) tiles.

    Yeah that's what I meant I'm using your github stuff. Just letting you know :)

    The mining guns are the bomb. Working on my second hybrid atm but hit the wall with the trianglium. Now I've got tons and I've found a crap load of pristilite below it so I'm grabbing that too.

    Persistence pays off :)

    I'll check the bandages. It could only be the replacement bandage script. Testing swatelites "bleeding" effect, which requires bandages to remove. Hardly and issue to move that effect to a different plant/item[DOUBLEPOST=1428805323][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm about to github the tech improvement to Burst Jump, and have also added Speed Boost as a new tech.[DOUBLEPOST=1428806754][/DOUBLEPOST]Overview page updated: Biome descriptions now include their most beneficial ores. That should help minimize further questions about that, save for people that can't be assed to read anything.

    The sampling array didn't work I've tried rearranging them
    I tried that before but I updated my game and it works fine now

    Just a small observation:
    The sub-title of the Extraction Lab still says: "Extracts genetic material." - Looks like a holdover from the Frackin' Flora-days.
    How about: "Extracts almost any old stuff. Except Coffee." instead?

  10. sayter

    sayter The Waste of Time

    That's already been updated. It shoudl already be live in 1.3.9 as " "description" : "Extracts resources from most materials.","

    failing that, 1.4 will have it.

    The mod is great, but some recipes are too complicated IMO. Still looking for that Helium 3 Canister so I can craft a Fission Furnace.

    sayter The Waste of Time

    You get a helium 3 cannister in the main questline for that express purpose. or rather, the raw helium needed to make that canister.

    If you follow the questline you'll be good to go for the fission.

    Failing that, Metallic Moons are the best bet for Helium 3. Consult the Overview page for the biome list. They now state what their key resources are.

    Complicated was the entire point. It keeps things interesting, and things are well worth the complication :)

    I've tried searching and seen few references to Lunari Crystals - someone earlier in this thread points out that they are found in the trees on Crystal Moons, and in the Wiki it also mentions Lunari Trees being a "semi transparent globule" or something to that effect in the branches. Problem is I've gone to multiple crystal moons, and clear-cut the whole surface and all of the trees are the same: 4 types of trees, 2 yellow and 2 blue, different looks but both a basic crystal tree that when harvested yields crystals and a sapling. No Lunari. Am I doing something wrong here or is there supposed to be a separate tree just for Lunari and its not spawning?

    The yellow trees are Lunari (or rather, Lunari are most often yellow, sometimes they vary), and they all drop Lunari shards. I just finished collecting about 5000 of them from the surface of a crystal moon. They work just fine. Sometimes, you'll get the second variant or crystal trees and not get any. It's luck of the draw. And it's 100% intended.

    You will need to smelt the Lunari shards into Lunari Crystals.

    Ah, yes, I see. I was on the github version of 08.04., downloading new version now.
    Had fun with helium and shadow gas too :). In case it has not been repeated enough: You, Sir, are awesome.

    No worries. More new stuff coming down the pipe, and recipe adjustments to the techs (as well as their unlocking requirements). They'll be much less easy to locate now.

    Just an update, upon searching the 4th or 5th Crystalline Moon, I did find the Lunari Trees (they happened to be pink), there was perhaps a dozen across the surface, got a total of ~110 shards. Guess I just got INCREDIBLY unlucky in finding them. Thanks for the response!

    There is a first for everything, and this time it is the first time that it was not my own stupidity, that caused me trouble in FU.
    The Quantum Extractor seems rather finicky at the moment, as in: Rice Seed and Grapes don't extract. Some other stuff works alright (Coal, Silver, Grape Seed, Bracken Seed were the ones I had at hand).
    If we are lucky it is just those two things that do not work, but maybe worth a look anyway.

  19. sayter

    sayter The Waste of Time

    Ah, yea... I am a lazy bastard and never did finish every single item for extraction. That certainly seems the more plausible scenario, in this instance. A guy can only be SO perfect, after all :)

    I know for sure that many produce items (especially vanilla) won't do a damned thing.

    One of these days I'll find time to do it, but as it is there are plenty of outlets to obtain resources. I'm not concerned :)

    If anyone else wants to contribute by finishing all that crap up (including FU produce and seeds I haven't gotten to, for that matter), feel free. There's a body massage in it for you. Or ..yknow...something less creepy if that's your preference.

    If you can get me the list of vanilla items as well as what kind of code to write to make it work, I can write it for you and you can check my work and copypaste it in, so that way the vanilla items are covered. (edit: I'd write it in notepad and send it to you in a text file so you can copy paste it in... I know -1 as opposed to 0 about programming)
