It should unlock when you create the BioChem Lab (or maybe it was the Xeno Station). Either way, it should unlock with one of the main labs. Failing that, try creating some of the other recipes within said stations to unlock others. If all else fails, do that.

 

Sayter; using your most recent version I'm getting the travel loop when trying to travel to Crystalmoon; which makes it very difficult to obtain Silicates

 

Hmm still havn't found it but ill keep looking, cant unlock xeno station without plastic but need organic for plastic Great mod though really having fun!

 

I don't know how make protocyte bars in the newest version. how make this bar now?

I need an error log to fix the problem. Get one for me please. Also, if you are using 1.3, and not 1.3.5 or 1.3.9, that would be why. Update as per the update page (its a link inside the last update, because the site refuses to let us post new things lately). If it is 1.3.5 or higher, though, then yea I'll need the error log. It'll be a sub-biome more than likely.

Also, you can make silicon in the Samping Array: 1 Crystal, 1 Oil, 1 Raw Mineral

If you happen across the new Spider Cave underground biome that should expedite the process nicely, as they are literally loaded with silk (once you extract from the spider webs). Hellhive biomes will also do this.

 

okay, you need to make chloroplast 1. Had to check that for you, as things had been shuffled around. I was mistaken in what unlocked it.

I know what is happening. You downloaded an incomplete archive. Try to download it again, delete your mod and install it again. Weather error is typical of this problem.

 

Did you post you error log ? I'm sure you have as that would be the first thing sayter would ask for.
I have been using this mod since I restarted playing starbound and have had no trouble with it that was not my own doing. I run it with about 20 to 30 other mods plus the one I made, I'm sorry but I don't see what could be wrong as I myself downloaded the one you have and ran it with no trouble. If you can think of anything more to add to help me help you please do so I'm on here all the time as I have no life and will do what I can to help.[DOUBLEPOST=1428574299][/DOUBLEPOST]

There shouldn't be ANY errors, dude. I don't know what the hell you're doing when you installl this but you're doing it wrong. Very wrong.

The weather issues you are getting shouldn't happen if you installed correctly.


So, perhaps do what I suggested , and go to the Updates page. Then click the 1.3.9 link inside the last update notes and install that. Then you just delete what you have in the /mods folder for FU, and put only the modpack in there. Done.

If that doesn't work, you are using the wrong version of the game or something.

 

The Crystalline Moon Alpha Tau-4 Eri 70 VI a is broken. No matter whether I FTL to it directly, or jump to it from another planet within the system, I get stuck in the Infinite FTL glitch. I have yet to find another Crystalline Moon, so I'm not sure if it's just the one, or the biome in general.

Edit: I found another Crystalline Moon. Jumping to it resulted in the same glitch.

 

We need the starbound.log file. Without it, the error cannot be fixed.

 

Nevermind. Taking the advice you just gave to Verman, I tried re-installing the modpack. It works fine now.

 

Yea, also make sure it was 1.3.5 or above. As stated before, there was a bug in 1.3 with a new subbiome where I mislabelled a tile type. Thus, any time that subbiome loaded it would cause an FTL loop 100% of the time since it couldn't find the nonexistent tile

I'd upload the fix the real way, if the damned site would let me.

 

I just wanted to say thanks for releasing the mod via your GitHub account. git pull is a real time-saver compared to downloading via a browser.
