    your best bet is metallic moons. Basically you have a one in three chance of a helium sea loading underground.

    So that samplingarray.lua thing? Seems to work in 32bit. Some times breaks in 64bit. Kill me. D:

    Yea, I thought something was fishy about that too, Grover. I played primarily in 32 bit. Switched recently to give 64 a try. I didn't even correlate that it might be the client being used as the source of the issue. Interesting. And annoying. We tested it and it worked, so the reports were like "wtf? it was fine" and then I tried it and noooope not fine.

    No, they are "typically" low threat. That does not mean every single one is low threat. They simply don't go all the way up to super-high threat levels.

    Doing a lot of stuff today, but I should hopefully have a release ready for tonight. It all depends on if I can get the parallax fixes done in time to get the OTHER stuff done that is still on the checklist.

    I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, first time posting in ChuckleFish, but I don't even see the quest to initiate FU on the Outpost. Am I missing something?

    I downloaded the brand new version 1.0 and flew into completely new space to be sure. There was this gelatinous world and as soon as I beamed down, I got the 'oil-effect' under my health bar, although I didn't find any oil at all - just water and poison.

    :cancel: The coords probably won't help because I have Mysterious and Prismatic Stars as well installed; it's just for the world type.

    One thing about that slid-effect on cold planets: personally I think the effect is a bit much - because it applies to the insides of buildings, too. If I was to take a wild guess, I'd say that the game can't really tell what inside a building is and what is not, so I feel it would be better to nerf the wild sliding a bit more. When Starbound had cold nights and such I always hated it that you couldn't get warm in buildings. That's just not immersive.

    Love your mod, it's great.

    I am not sure if THIS is related to Frackin' Universe, but I've never seen that one happen before today. Happens on solid ground too, although then ship behaves as if submerged in water - doesn't fall through the ground or anything:

    And I can't deactivate the tech - I have to beam back to my ship. I would have posted directly to the Starbound bug section, but as I've said: never happend before the update to 1.0 today.

    Edit: I've tried again - point is, the boat tech doesn't work at all for me any more.

    You did a great job. I was unpatient to see finally this version considered as a 1.0 to start playing the game with FU seriously ^^

    But I would like to know (if you have the time), do you take suggestions or idears for biomes etc if you want to update FU ?
    I'have got a lot of idears to improve the starbound universe, in a realistic way rather than just fantasy but I dont know how to proceed, nd a mod like this is great to summarize all the good biomes existing. And I also woul like to know if you plan to introduce some features like clouds and nebulas from the mod Spacebound ?
    If its possible to change the light of the sun on the planets. I would love to see some planets orbiting black holes (like the realistic one in Interstellar), or simply neutron stars, with a fast pulsating cold light, maybe able to deplete the energy bar at every flash, forcing to use swords/hammers/spears...
    And at the opposite, planets with a strong gravity/athmospheric pressure, wich make movement difficult, encouraging to use ranged weapons. The only problem is that techs skills uses energy too.
    I dont also know if its possible, but adding some asteroid belts around gas giant would be extremly good, maybe as sources of rare minerals. the field system (it display athmosperic clouds...in space :seriously:) feels really strange. I hope you will also reintroduce the space wreckage biome, it was a really good one.
    Also, I would love to see some colors variety on gas giants (blue, light greens, orange etc...with generated spots, storms etc...) or even some exotic types of these planets, like the pegasides, large gas giants orbiting too close from their giant star.
    I now its maybe unprobale, but seems that Chucklefish prefer to continue the devellopement of the game with more fantasy rather than science fiction, and maybe the only way to get a more realistic and variated universe is to make it via mods/adding like yours.

    I updated to the 1.0 FU (removed old and put in new) went in game and flew to desert to do a FU quest to get some caliche stone from there...I started getting it and suddenly the game shut down and now I cant get in the game at all...here is the log I am not sure if its FU or not but its the only new update I installed today and it was running fine untill them...I can play a new toon but not the one stuck on the plant (my Main)

    You need to do the first main tier quest the fixing the thrusters, then you should be able to talk with the same guy that gave you said quest for the FU quest if I remember right.

    What biomes require a tech or some kind of planet environment protector? Because I don't know what planets I shouldn't land on without proper equipment...
