Yes, some plants uproot themselves. Some plants are also a non-standard size, IIRC the point was that their hitbox should reflect their physical size in the game world.

Also a nailery takes iron ore, an adaptive cell and two orgsynth, you spacepoor

Damn, that still happens lol. Thanks. I think I finally figured out what's going on there though. Should be nipped in the bud next update.

 

Lol...it's not about resources (i just dislike plants uprooting themselves because It's annoying having to replant them every time, heh - for me, anyway)...also I'm really early in the tech tree for the modpack, still. I do have to go out and explore more, though~ ^^

The physical size of the nailery plant didn't seem to merit requiring two spaces, considering it's about the same size as the leafshell plant, but...oh well~

 

Still a work in progress, I think. A lot of 2-tile plants aren't (weren't?) centered properly and look lopsided and such.

 

Wait till you try to plant glarestalks. Then you'll learn what a space hog some plants can be.

i dont know if this helps or if i did bad by doing it but i went and looked at the recipe file and the thing that the perfectly generic item is replacing is the helium3canister and i am sorry if i was not spost to do that

 

I know the issue was the cannister thanks.

Would it be possible to have plant-able glowing shrooms? I know, I know, but I like the way they glow on the surface. Tera forming FTW! I would love to see a series of bio luminescent plants we can grow to be lights and have other effects for the Florans. They strike me as the organic tech type.

Also bricks: we need more now that you've made tons of new block types.

I giggled a little. Its mod files, if you can open em and look at them and you won't break them and complain that its someone else's fault, have at it. Hell, its what I did. First time I posted in this thread I didn't know crap about how mods function, but since then I've looked at the files myself and now I can at least read an error log and figure out why Starbound is screaming at me. Kind of, anyway. Some error logs just don't tell you diddly squat.

I understand how you feel sayter, but please don't be discouraged. Anybody with a decent mind would be able to tell this is five-star material right off the bat, its obvious you're very dedicated and put an insane amount of effort into your work; I crawl through the files every so often, and am just amazed at how much work is put into it.

I've seen you on Reddit, so, I'll say that the current rating system is here like the upvote and downvote system on Reddit. Its supposed to be used as a form of expression to say if you've contributed anything worthwhile to the post, but people abuse it in a way where they'll just upvote and downvote based on how much they liked your post.

If people used the voting system in a correct way here, you would never see anything below a five star rating. It's really unfortunate, but as I've said, please don't be discouraged. You always have our support and appreciation on the forums, in the very least.

 

Oh , I'm not discouraged at all. I'm just sick and tired of downvotes due to people being unable or unwilling to simply READ. All they need to know is right on the page...yet still "durrrr matter assembler doesnt exist". Drives me bonkers. Legitimate bugs and errors, thats cool. Downvote. But for made-up nonsense that happens simply because they are too lazy to use their eyes? lol.
