Yea, either a stomache flu or food poisoning. Not sure how I would get food poisoning though. I had perogies for supper, and cereal for breakfast. thats all. Kid and wife had the same, they arent sick. Weird.

Sounds like you spent too much time on those rainforest or bog or primeval forest biomes and picked up something...

Hope you feel better soon, sayter; went through a similar bout myself a few weeks ago.

Experiencing a consistent freeze when exploring a hollow "unknown" planet (can keep moving around, but can't interact with any part of the environment, all critters are frozen etc) - can post the whole log if you like, but this is the key bit: "Error: WorldServerThread exception caught: (ObjectException) No such object named 'wildgingerseed'" . Directorywide search for wildgingerseed returns only FU's file flowerforest.biome.

 

Does FU even have ginger? The only references I'm getting are for converting ginger to genetic material.

 

Yeah, since it's apparently only in that one biome file, I suppose it was/is meant to be implemented, but isn't currently in the mod.

Or, it was put in as a mod inter-compatibility thing, as I also found ginger in clonelab.lua.bak under "MOREFOOD MOD PLANTS"

 

Well, wildgingerseed and ginger have never existed in the git repo, so... Maybe it's supposed to be ginseng?

 

Read somewhere metal moons contain densinium... 8 different moons later nothing of the sort. Anyone know where this stuff is likely to spawn or at least a description of what it looks like? Does it glow, what color is it, etc?

 

Densinium is used to make what is currently one of the best armors in the mod, which can resist ALL of the environmental hazards added by the mod. It's rare as hell.

 

No I know it's important, but I hate the idea of missing it by it looking like another ore or simply being on the completely wrong biome to begin with.

 

You're on the right type of planet, but the ore is just super rare.

 

Perseverance then. Just gonna keep blast mining til it shows up.

 

Whoa, don't use explosives. They destroy ore. That's a vanilla game thing, now.

This doesn't solve my issue of not getting the Intro quests to ARRIVE at the Science Outpost in the first place.

 

So, here's a question...is it intended for some plants to uproot themselves rather than simply reset their harvest stage to whatever it should be set at?

The reason I ask is that I got some nailery plant seeds...and when I planted it, the plants took quite awhile (which is fine, heh) to grow...and when I went to harvest them, the plants uprooted themselves rather than resetting the stage. However, it seemed like the Leafshell plant had a similar growth time for the initial growing of the plant, but once grown it produced its fruits more often because it only reset to the previous stage (so it was a grown plant, just didn't have any fruit on it).

Also, I haven't encountered a whole lot of FU plants yet, so I'm wondering this as well...are some plants meant to take up 2 spaces on the tilled soil, while others aren't? The nailery plant does take up 2 ground spaces, while the leafshell doesn't (s'why I'm asking, heh).

 

I've seen that a lot, both generated as oceans and lava oceans. If I can I usually just wall it off. Was exploring an (unknown planet) hollow world with /admin, dug down from the surface through what I thought was a lava lake, swam down to find the lava intersected with empty air in the hollow world. Now every time I find one of those hollow worlds I cam upward to make sure there aren't any... surprises in range
