not all FF biomes have iron Vanilla ones have the standard spread. If you want to know which ones to find iron on:

open biomes/oredistributions.configfunctions.patch


scroll down a bit till that slew of tiny "ops" is past.

then youll see the FF biomes. look for "iron" in those big-assed confusing lists. the higher the number , the more common it is.

 

the swampdirtmaterial and swampdirtffmaterial files are both still there

but oddly enough the game does load, considering the matitem file still have the duplicate material id

 

the materials should still be there. it was the tiles that were the problem I probably forgot to remove the other material file though, but it isn't in use so there's no issue.

 

How long will it take to get the questlines working for custom races? Sounds like a major undertaking.

 

It's not that hard, really. Many of the quests will remain and just be.. relocated, so to speak.

We're discussing how best to do so right now, and ideas are varied and none are bad. #1 is to make them pace with the vanilla progression so you aren't awash in a sea of quests that make things confusing. This likely means either a quest NPC on the outpost to begin the quests, a lorebook unlocking it... rest assured, we'll get something neat done up soon enough.

this latest patch basically cleared up the few remaining serious issues. Now we can focus on features and plugging holes such as the cloning lab and quests.

im making my own biome mod and wanted to ask if i could use the wasteland biome
the owner of the old one sead anyone could use/remod it but for some reason i wanted to ask you cus idk if your the current owner or not lol

Hmmm. Lorebook would be easier in my opinion. Something you start with in the ship locker while repairing the engines and FTL drive. I personally love having a sea of quests but that's just me.[DOUBLEPOST=1423982485][/DOUBLEPOST]

Intentional. That is where the file is currently being hosted, it's one of Satyer's friends' sites. The download is fine.

 

Yeah I figured but for some reason the page stays blank and no download starts btw I'm downloading thru my phone not sure if that's the case

 

I'm willing to bet you're considered this before and I'm willing to take the flak if you have, but I suggest Mediafire or Mega for storing the file.

Add a communist biome

 

Check to see if things like NoScript and AdBlock and the like are off, because sometimes the download won't start.

I have to question why you'd be running a previous version given we have a new stable update, though. Only reason I can see is an outdated multiplayer server.

Question: How do you get aliencompound? From reading in the files it's supposed to be build in the sampling array, but it doesn't show there. Neither I can find a recipe in the files. But you need that stuff for creating the more complicated plants. Thanks!
