Delete the mod, and then reinstall it. There is no reason at all that you should not see the basic tables. They appear on the defautl crafting table, the robotic one AND tabula rasa. If you aren't seeing them, it's likely installed wrong.

that or you didnt build the DNA Extractor yet. That MUST be built first, as it unlocks the schematics for the next station

By running one of various materials through the DNA Extraction Lab unit - cobblestone is probably the easiest as it's so common, but it's very inefficient (50 cobblestone become 2 raw minerals IIRC); meteorite, volcanic materials (added by this mod to volcanic and magma biomes) and high tier ores (aegisalt, cerulium etc) are much more efficient, but of course much less common; as a middle ground silver/gold/platinum ore are fairly common and extract at decent rates.

sayter: Any chance of implementing extraction recipes for lunar materials (moonstone, moondust etc.) and/or gravel? Pretty much the only materials that (I keep accumulating tons of and) remain "useless" to me, heh.

 

Quests have a problem, since it works as a hook of the tutorial quests, if you already finished those they will never trigger for your character.

I would recommend creating a codex which can work as a instruction booklet for FF.

Just got matter blocks and was wondering how to make the unstable particle because it still shows that I have it grayed out. Though the matter block I have is the vanilla one.

 

Did you download the recent update? It fixed that issue It should now use "green back" matter blocks. You can also produce them in the extractor.

 

So, question ',' Is the Braken Tree supposed to drop Perfectly Generic Items as part of it's drop table?

 

yea, no it aint. ill take a peek.


edit: What all is dropping for you? should be resin, silk, seed. I'm not seeing any problems in the scripts though.

 

Quests are not activating for me, despite crafting a distress beacon and beating the first boss. Also, how do I create unstable particles? I don't see them in the lists for any device, and I've looked multiple times.

 

Quests activate long before that point. Should be right after Crafting Table is made. If you dont see it, its conflicting with another mod.

Unstable Particles are found in the Chem Lab. If you don't see them, try uninstalling the mod and reinstalling. Should be there.

 

Also if you went through the quest line already you won't see the quest unless you delete the player quest file and regenerate it.

When I harvest Lasher Stem, I also occasionally get Perfectly Generic Item. What is it's other drops?

I'm curious to what materials give the most amount from the DNA Extractor when broken down... I seriously don't feel like looking through every file in notepad++ @_@ last time I tried I swear my eyes crossed.

 

You could just, yknow, experiment and find out. Kinda the whole point.
