Modding Help Fracken Universe custom race

So i have no clue what im doing, I thought all i needed was a ".raceeffect" and a ".species.patch" of the races name, but that didnt work. ( i tested with the droidens, and went under water but still had to breath air) I tryed searching it up but didnt get much. Any help would be loved, thanks

 

oops, I had a fu.pak and a unpacked, it was taking the .pak as the priority.
