Found something like a Nanosuit in the assets...

Hey guys, a few days ago I uploaded a screenshot of my base containing my main character with a new not yet implemented suit of armor. So basicly I would like to point out what this is and maybe discuss with you what it could possible be:

I found this interesting piece of armor/vanity in the assets of starbound and decided to spawn it in. My game is except for the spawning mod I use (currently creative mode) completly vanilla, and the creative mode only adds 1 new armor and thats the god armor which looks like Tiys clothing. So it cant be added by this mod, specialy since its in the vanilla assets...

The itemset itself is called "fullmetal" and is made out of the fullmetal pants, fullmetal chestplate and fullmetal helmet.
It has a black/greyish metalic color scheme with red glowing eyes and spots on the suit. The item has rare quality and not any stats yet, however I got an assumption about this: This item is either a pure vanity item which looks kinda like an armored exoskeleton/Nanosuit which might be a possible reference to Crysis and similar games (or Killzone because of the red glowing eyes and the similar looking helmet) or its going to be some rare armor drop added soon to the game which we might find then in chests. I kinda like the appearence and thought I would share this with you.

So let me know if you have any ideas about this particular item... I really would like to know a bit more about this.. or well atleast see if somebody knows if this itemset is refering to anything like the "Power Armor" is referring to Warhammer 40k...

back on topic, i think the nano suit thing is probably a "rough draft" item cf devs put in just to be a place holder and worry about it later. Looks pretty advanced, so personally I think it'll be an endgame craftable. Perhaps it's the base armor over which you build your racial armor for the >gold armor tiers?

About the programs, standard shit I cover, but usually I am extremly paranoid about people finding out where I am though theres no way to tell but still <.<

Yeah might be some kind of armor you get in say Tier 7, probaly like the Diamond Armor which is not implemented yet but still wondering if this rare quality actually is kept or if it will be changed at some point

It's the glitch aegisalt armor dyed, probably by you.

 

I can confirm that the fullmetal armor is an actual thing in vanilla that you can spawn in.

 

Looks like a Glitch armor to me, going off of the lights around the waist.

 

Sure while theres no way to dye armor in vanilla game and such, should probaly display the rarity level of it and the name in a bit, when I get a better mood I will upload that aswell so you can see yourself

 

This is the Fullmetal armor, I'm pretty sure it's just cosmetic.

 

We can speculate endlessly today and/or wait until we find out what this is. I choose to wait and see how this turns out.

Nah I did some testing/rebalancing on my own a while back. Reason was I messed up badly with rechanging pixel drops and now I have an absurdly high ammount of pixel and have no idea how to get rid of that...

Wondering then if theres going to be a pink one
