Found a purple Rocket launcher in X sector

Two penal colonies here,

1 house with what im guess are 2 apex inside,
in the house is a little shaft down to a small sewage area,
chest has rocket launcher

Not entirely true. Someone had coordinates to find an Overdrive Guitar in a 'random' chest alongside a tech in a chest that was always the same as well. Five or so of us used those coordinates and it worked for all of us.

It could very well be there.

 

I can confirm what Raybrandt said, I went to a USCM Penal Colony Prison and it stated to have a Legendary Pig Shooting Grenade Launcher, went there and got the exact same item.

I still don't really know why sometimes it does change and sometimes it doesn't

 

I have visited the location and the launcher wasn't there, so it would seem like this one was a random spawn.

 

ok guys, sorry about this post, i was thinking it was just the items in the chest that were random not the chest locations them selves
