Forum kinda dead lately?

Is it only me or has the forum been eerily quiet for some time now? Have we run out of topics to discuss? Has everyone just buggered off for the holidays? Or is it simply silent anticipation for something sometime "early 2013"?

 

That's my guess,
and because everyone has buggered off, that means there's no SB news.

 

I doubt it. People are just wearing off from their Christmas food coma; after new years, we'll right a s rain.

IT's the holidays. We're spending time with family.

Also with new toys. I just got Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3, for example.

 

Well, we have not had that much information spoon-fed to us recently.

It has been rather quiet here for the past couple days, but there was a major holiday.
If you're looking for something to do right now bartwe happens to be streaming on twitch. Back to work after Christmas, it seems.
I dunno anything about coding and the like, but it's still interesting.

Edit: Perhaps it's just me, but winter as a whole seems like a slow time.

I don't ever check on the what's new button and I still don't think it's dead.

 

Oh my god. A sabertooth tiger walked up to him and started shooting plasma out of its eyes. Most amazing game ever.

 

Statistically:

(Though it's probably clear: for all lines except "Users Active", the point fartherest to the right is December 25th, the second-farthest is December 24th.)

 

That's a small deviation, and doesn't relaly look too much lower than the ones on dec 8 or dec 11, just a bit more prolonged (in terms of active users).

 

OP: The forums are likely quiet due to the holiday season. Folks find other things to do, new stuff to play with, or are otherwise occupied with other things. It will pick up again before too long.

I suppose all of us are just lurking, but none of us posted anything, possibly due to the food coma I'm sure we're all in.
