    I'm afraid you misspelled the term "gangster" in the title. Are you referring to the hip-hop subgenre, or even a member of an inner-city underclass, as opposed to an actual member of a formalized crime group?

    True, but the term "gangster" has come to mean criminals. And no, nobody who lived in the 1920's spoke like this. Only people who wish they had.
