I'm excited to see how people are reacting to this! I've had this project on the back burner for a while, after all!

 

This is a massive request, so I 100% understand if you give a flat-out "no," but have you ever considered making a More Farming-compatible version?

the sushi bar menu and hanging sign don't appear to have object and frames files made for them, just images


edit: the log also spit this at me when starting the game

oh... i see what the deal with those are, there's literally a file named .frames and .object, and doesn't actually have a filename just an extension, there's no data in them either

 

yeaaaaaah they're not in the finished product bc I couldn't come up with more items for the set and this mod had gone on long enough without an update. The proper sushi bar set (and the rest of the objects) will be in the next update, promise!

 

sushi bars don't tend to have many distinct trappings outside of the sushi itself, they tend to be super modest, even with a bare minimum of distinctly japanese decor, you have pretty much covered everything that wouldn't require otherwise ordinary modern/hylotl furniture, a google search shows that the most visually distinct thing about a sushi bar is it's sushi displays, which the plating table already covers or a sushi chef counter

Hey, is there any way I could help with the creation of this mod? I can do pretty much anything

 

just you offering is appreciated! but, unfortunately I can't think of anything currently I can't handle by myself. Of course, this might change in the future! And in future updates I may need beta testers for the mod, so I suppose keep an eye out for things like that! I'll be sure announce whenever that time may come.

 

is there a reason why "/objects/themed/cafe/tongandtraystand/.object" is a thing? It causes a minor incompatibility with the Frackin Universe racialiser (it causes pet houses to be racialised like normal objects instead of it's special case since that object file is read with root.itemConfig(nil) (this causes it to have the wrong name, no icon and no placement image))

 

Ah, it's an object that I didn't bother finishing before I released the latest update. It'll be in the next one though, so feel free to delete it in the meantime if it's causing problems.

 

It's a minor enough issue that it should be fine just waiting until the next update for it to be fixed

but with the amount of furniture from both the base game and Foodie's Furniture (plus any other mods you might have) it might simply be too much strain on the Pixel Printer and be causing it to crash - it's an issue with the object itself, not necessarily the mod's furniture.

Seems this last update causes the burger fool and café npcs to die where they stand.
Log file included so you can try and discern something from it.
This seems to be the error that keeps coming back:

Other than that, splendid additions to an already strong mod.
Time to bulldoze a chunk of planet so I can put down a farmer's market. Environment friendly, of course.
