I am going to assume that you don't have a high tier character. If you do, get hurt and try 1 bandage vs 1 pie. The healing from pie is so much better than the useless bandages at high tier. That said, I hear there is better bandages if you get the portable pixel thing, which I have yet to try. Still, the pie takes away hunger gives you speed boost and gives you a light boost.

I disagree here, to an extent. At the start at least, I was constantly starving because I was weak and the monsters were not dropping very much meat. Later on of course, yes, I have a lot of food. I have almost every crop in the game in my garden. But meat does have a purpose later, you make other foods with it which heal you better than bandages.

The better bandages heal you for 3 bars and faster than regular bandages, that I can tell.

This talk of meat is silly. This isn't WoW where only 10% of boars have livers. All animals have meat, and the drop rate is fine.

There is, it's a Nanowrap Bandage. You need 1 bandage to craft one, and it costs 50 pixels.

Yeah, Coralberries are Hylotl specific. o.,o And I'd think that all of the Glitch food would be specific for them, since you know... when you hold the pointer over it, its all metallic like food. x.x

Mostly. Boltbulbs seem to simply be a berry-like food that LOOKS metallic.

But... what if boltbulbs are like their name, and contain a small jolt of acidic electric that gives a shock when you eat it..? You'd think that would actually damage a Hylotl and ruffle an Avians feathers!

I think they mean bolt like a nut and bolt. Not a bolt of electricity. :p For that, you'd want currentcorn.

xD But what if all... Glitch foods had a small shock of electricity in them? Like they all retained charge... and each time a glitch ate one.. it charged its internal battery...

I don't dispute that, haha. Just the naming scheme. I'm guessing that's really what their hunger is from an internal perspective. Their foods just have higher mineral content and an electrical charge.

I wonder who eats toxictops? Do the Glitch eat them? Toxictops are toxic, and I believe acidic as well, which would make it seem as though they are not a good thing to eat for anybody.

Florans get a recipe that uses them.
