    I'm currently exploring an hostile desert planet with nothing but sand... and more sand.

    It kinda bugs me that the meat i gets from monster don't replenish my health. The bread and some other food i had worked and the bandages... But now i have nothing left to continue my exploration. It kinda break the exploration/survival aspect of the game. And i cannot go back to my ship since i would lost all the progress i made, but that's another thing.

    The bread heal me but not the meat?

    I think we should be able to hunt for the meat, like it is now, and replenish 1 bar of health when cooked.

    Agree? or not?

    you do know that sleeping in a bed heals you, right?

    Yeah. Why should i put a bed everytime i lost some health. And sleep is not the fastest way you know.

    takes roughly 2 minutes to fully heal in a bed, i think that's pretty darn fast, probably even faster then terraria, the only difference is you can't move while healing, and a bed only takes 2 hits to break and take with you, besides they're cheap as heck to make, at only 15 wood planks in a crafting table

    In my opinion, it's silly that the bread heals you. If it were up to me, eating would never restore health, bandages would only heal 50% of your missing health as long as you had taken damage since the last time you bandaged, the only way to to restore 100% health would be to sleep in a bed that's in a sheltered area.

    Hmm, but is that really how you want this game to feel like? Go explore until you take too much damage, then put down a bed, wait for like 2 minutes and then stand up again and take the bed with you again?
    This does not sound like a fluid system to me.

    It's not supposed to be fluid. If it were fluid and made everything easy, you would be doing nothing except grinding the next tier of equipment. I think you should have to stop sometimes. You should be scared if you get caught out at night far from your shelter. I don't think you should be able to just plop down a bed either, it should need to be in a house, kind of like how Terraria detects houses.

    If you're playing in a fluid system where you're free to run around mining everything you see and monsters aren't really a problem because you can heal quickly anywhere and teleport to your ship if your health gets low, it would appear to me that you were doing nothing except grind the next tier of equipment.

    How about this? if you have a full hunger meter you health slightly regenerates, but at a very very slow rate. so you get some of your hp back but not all at once of course. This might encourage you to explore while still having the danger of being killed.

    Since the foodbar goes down fast -thats my opinion- it might be a legit way to solve the bed camping problem, you would have to pack lots of food instead. to keep that belly of yours full at all times ;)

    Very Minecraft but i suppose it could be one solution. In addition, food and the like should have a description on what it is used for.
    Ex: Meat= HP 0 / +3 food meter.
    Burger= Regenerate 30 HP over 5 sec / + 2 Food meter.
    Milk= HP + 2/ +1 Food meter.
