Flying Monsters

Is it just me or are the flying monsters in Starbound extremely strong in all sectors regarless of armor i'm having a lot of trouble combating them. They do (in my opinion) a ridiculous amount of damage and knockback it makes trying to explore planets more difficult than it should be.

 

They are fixing it. Tonight's patch.

 

Use the search function. A LOT of threads have been made about this. Keep in mind that we normally call them "birds" when you're searching.

It's not just the birds. Enemy projectile damage seems to be screwed up. Try fighting a trigger-happy convict.

They may be terrible, but they're not Cliffracer terrible.

Nothings Cliffracer Terrible.

 

They were bred to kill new players. You'll have to find the nest, where Mothra is, and deal with her before destroying the eggs to stop the "Crazy Flying Beasts Attack" event from your planet.

Anyhow, just do a search before you post a thread next time. It'll save you from posting a thread that has already been posted about 30 times today.
