Hey, I'll be posting all sorts of Starbound fanart here. Mostly pixel art, but I might post some drawings and stuff too when I get the chance! For now though, here's some sprites and animations of various monster contest winners. Here's the sprites of my own monster contest entry, the Virorbs. I'll try and make sprites for the steam, fog and brainwasher virorbs soon(ish?)! I might edit the sprites to make them a little cleaner, since I've improved a bit at spriting since when i made them. Maybe animate some too? Maybe... Yup. And here's a picture of a cell virorb i made in Paint.net.: A little animation of a Poptop opening its mouth/yawning/trying to get peanut butter out of its teeth/whatever! Poptops were designed by TomServo and the base sprite is the one that will be in the game. A Poptop Tender! Sprited from scratch (I used the colours of the official Poptop sprite though) An animation of Yen's 4th place contest winner, the Bad Moon. I drew the sprite and animation by scratch. I'll probably sprite the Bad Goo eventually. I made a sprite animation (from scratch) of Cyan the Red's 3rd place winner, the Mindwurm. They're so cuuuute! And here's the Mindwurm Mother perform an attack of some sort. I'll keep this post updated with more stuff as i make it!
I really like the Mindwurm. I never thought of it as cute until I saw that sprite. I'd keep it as a pet.
What the...Where did the Hand Virorb had happened? It's my favorite at all! Just kidding. I LOVE THEY ALL!!!
Whoops! Forgot about them, I saved that sprite in a different folder for some reason... anyway, I fixed it. Thanks for pointing it out!

I intended for all of the Virorbs to be tameable apart from the brainwasher, but whether they will be like that in the game is up to the devs. Then I suppose you might like this... I haven't animated it yet, but I will start soon!
