Floran Styled Homes

I was wondering how you other florans build your homes, would you guys mind sharing? See here I made a home out of a tree. And then from 3 trees I made a village.

I'm an odd floran... I just build what I think looks good. But if you insist...



I build with what I find, and have a particular flare to it that I call my own.

I miss that planet.... So many Koalas...

I dont have a floran house, but I would love to build one sooner or later
Id like to go with the giant tree every one has because I dont have any other plant based stuff

possibly a vine covered apex base thing I love making?

That's a great idea you've got there, there are similar buildings like that.. even though they're very small.
I'd love to see a entire apex lab like that!

 

well what im doing with the current one im building, I love underground bases and sky bases so I have a large chunk of rocks in the sky and a crater under it, apex lab in the floating rock (suspended by magic (magnetism)
it would be easy to build another one then cover in vines and agaran pods and call them floran (or would floran enthusiasts be angry?)

 

I realized I have even said how good the OP build is, as it is impressive & awe inspiring. So too the other person's build. Don't know if I will actually build floran style, but at least I can in the very least bridge the gap...

I just like to build with the terrain.... kind of. I do really like the two different versions of floran housing. They both have a nice sense of design. I can always rebuild what I have here, but will not really look the same. Too bad that server went down, as that is where the pics are from; what I have built in multiplayer. My idea is to build the universe eventually so I can make other characters to visit and possibly add onto them, if not look back at what I have done.

 

I have all the stuff I need to build a really cool space station, greenhouse, and underground base. The space station is going to be a multi-tiered Astralarium complete with something that is going to look like a telescope. The greenhouse will be for my uber tree collection and zen garden, mostly from glass and special lighting. The underground base is going to be for storage, and tools/tradeskilling. I am also considering a Floran type treehouse, but it hinges on finding a planet with an Avian Pirate ship nearby. I plan on having a dry dock for an airship. If I cannot find a planet with all these things, then I may have to destroy a ship and rebuild it on the appropriate planet. Tis LOTS of work, but it will keep me busy for a long long time.


And then BOOM. effing meteor will hit it no doubt.
