Floran Home Tree

So I decided to make a Floran home tree for me to live in, and I thought I would just share with you guys the progress on it right now. Just in case the world ends and I lose it.


The world has you enter in at the two stone statues, and someone has to ring you in from a keypad further in.

Then we have a few main rooms, my current bedroom which I will make into a different room later when I want a bigger bedroom, a small kitchen an living room, the control room, and a few choice torture racks for the tasteful Floran.

Annnnnnd here is where contruction is still taking place! Just wanted to show people what I am working on because I feel very proud of my small little tree, and If I can finish this I want to make an even better one at some point.

 

It's looking great, reminds me of that huge tree from Avatar.

Jokes aside, this is an awesome project. How many of you guys are able to make so beautiful and organic looking structures is enviable. I really haven't a hand for this, so kudos.

Would be a little better mixing the backwall with raw logs?

I'm working on some floran house too. Still getting some resources... The plantstone that I'm planing to use are kinda tedious to mine.

I was actually thinking of maybe making the windows outlined with raw log, just so it looks like they were carved in, but I am also deciding if i should use the glass panels.

 

Got my bedroom and tech room done.

And found time to get the garden going

 

That's incredible! I made a similar tree house for my Floran the other day... but it doesn't even compare to yours xD

What are the green balls and hanging lights? I love it im trying to make my own treehouse but I want those things.

 

Those lights can be found in Floran settlements and prisons. Pretty rare, if I may say. Stumbled over a dozen and more Apex buildings, as well as Avian constructs - but thus far from florans, I only found 1 prison and 1 village. Might try the coordinates threads. I found the village with the coords from one of them.

 

That's amazing. How much time do you spend on each room thinking about how it will affect the tree as a whole? I feel like that must have taken hours if not days to even build a room.
