The idea is that, on certain worlds there is a chance of water flooding the area. For example: on worlds with a high amount of water on them, every 20-40 minutes or so the water floods a large portion of the world for about 10 minutes. Once the flood ends the world goes back to how it was before and the timer for when a flood can happen resets. This could be used to make worlds more dangerous as the player would have to build a base faster so they didn't drown. This would only happen on worlds that are mostly water.
Nice idea, I have nothing against. In fact, on the more dangerous worlds with acidic/corrosive liquid in place of water, something like a flood would be a true challenge and near suicide if one doesn't have proper, resistant armor.
That sounds.... awesome, i wanna build a base in a valley where shitloads of floods happen now It'd have airlocks and if it's possible some kind of tidal generator
Just imagine it My glorious coastline outpost water rising and the base has to be sealed.Yes Yes yes.
