I love the new Midnight planets, but they're definitely a work in progress. Besides the Hive mini-biome, there's really nothing there except a few decorative items and a vanity set. The purpose of these suggestions is to make visiting the midnight planets more worthwhile.

-First off, the random piles of rocks and odd "trees" should drop Shadow Blocks when smashed or felled. These would serve as one of the crafting ingredients for the biome's furniture set.

-Second, the water on these planets should be replaced with a new liquid called "liquid shadow." This murky black liquid would look similar to oil, but would be opaque, similar to how Alien Juice was before it was removed. It would apply a Shadow status effect, which would be a purely cosmetic effect that would make your character appear as a silouhette for as long as it's active. Any other liquid that Liquid Shadow touched would become Liquid Shadow itself. Liquid Shadow would also be the second crafting ingredient for the furniture set.

-Liquid Shadow could be bottled at the Kitchen Counter, creating a "Bottled Shadow" consumable item that would apply the Shadow status effect for 5 minutes or so. This would be a purely cosmetic item.

-The furniture set itself would include a chair, a bed, a table, a door, and a light, which would match the carved style of the Shadow Chest. The light would give off a dim purple glow similar to a blacklight, and the door would be a column of thick black smoke that can be toggled on and off. Blueprints would be found in Shadow Chests, and the chests themselves would gain a crafting recipe and corresponding blueprint.
