Flat world or round world?

Hi folkes, I was just wondering how big these worlds we visit are going to be and if the worlds are going to be flat like terraria with a east an west perimeter end.Or will the generated world be round where you can set off at one point on the world surface and travel all around the world to the beginning again.
If so that would mean you could dig from the north pole to the south pole of the planet cool!

 

I don't know how small worlds can be, but they said it's possible to make worlds infinite and they MIGHT do that for some.
They are making it so it wraps around to make it seem round. We don't know how they will make underground work though.

 

The worlds are in all probability flat but they loop. So once you hit the edge, you just go to the other side.

 

How do you know this? Or is it just a theory dude?
