Flashlights, when dual wielded, should diverge from each other, revealing a significantly larger portion than they do when only using one at a time. After all, if you were holding two flashlights at a time, you wouldn't be pointing them in exactly the same place, you would use them both for the purpose of revealing more ahead of you.
I'm not, because it doesn't do any good, but I would if the flashlights weren't pointing in the same place, because it would help see ahead better when exploring, and I can always switch to my weapon quickly enough.
I do, because it's vaguely pretty. It could be prettier if we could perhaps change the orientation of one arm in relation to the other arm. Then we could have some pretty nice illumination in front of us. It would also give us the option of looking cool with guns when we aim in different directions. Like in that one movie. You know the one.
Lookkit me! I'm SWIMMING! *Tackled by an underground chubby dwarf* Oh, the fun that could be had with such a concept. The sheer silly possibility. Oh, but I just realized, that's somewhat like ... What's it called? Little big planet. Still, it wouldn't be a bad addition. It would also give players with controllers a little something something to play around with.
Yeah, Your idea would be easier to do. I'm just trying to give a method by which it could be done. it could definitely be done via widening the beams like you suggest, though.
It's sad that the QWOP idea is not likely to get implemented. It would be wonderful to stroll around villages like "haters gonna hate".
Yes indeed. The idea of running through a Floran village at night, all the while pinwheeling my arms holding different colored flashlights like a glowstick-spotlight combo is greatly appealing to me. I would never do that with swords or guns, though. That would be terrible.
