Fixing Pickaxes

    can you fix pickaxes with ore? i have seen this written, but it does not work for me. i am playing on a mac 10.9

    i usually just forge about 6 copper pickaxes before i go mining. it works, but it is kind of annoying having to take up that much space.

    you can no longer repair pickaxes, the matter manipulator is the primary mining tool now (you can upgrade it as well)

    So what you're saying is they jacked up the game. SO now I have to carry a boat load of pickaxes. Sound to me like the devs are dumbasses!!!

    No, now you use the matter manipulator as the main tool. The pickaxes are just temporary boosts early to mid game (completely useless late game). You dont need them at all.
