Bug/Issue Fishing game bug during Stardew Valley Fair

I tried playing the fishing game in the Stardew Valley Fair and I wasn't able to move around or cast anything. After the timer ended, I was stuck at that screen

 

I had the same thing happen. I eventually had to use task manager to kill the game.

 

Had this happen when my wife was trying to rearrange the grange display. Also, when she started fishing (hoping it'd get me un-stuck) I could see a phantom line being cast.

It seems to work reliably if only one person is doing anything at a time, as a workaround.

 

I had this happen, as well, on my single player file.

Weird double cursor glitch, time jumped to zero, fishing bar above my head, and unable to do anything other than move my two cursors around.

Edit: Tried again, same thing happened. I noticed, though, the timer counted down fully this time. I hit escape the first time and that caused the time to jump to 0:00.

 

I've attempted this as well, and I've found the same issue, easily replicable, complete with double cursor and everything.

I have experienced the same thing on my single player game too. Able to exit out of the fishing game and return to the fair by pressing Esc, but only if i don't use my fishing pole. The moment i use my fishing pole, i get stuck with the power meter over head and have to close the game down completely.

 

If you google this its been a problem for a long time. Nothings been done about it. Hopefully they'll fix it. I want to fish!

 

Just encountered this as well. Windows x64.

I'm running in the default borderless windowed mode, and I frequently alt+tab to read the wiki.

Also, in case it's relevant, I have always show hit location enabled.
