    I meant as a backpack, so it would work like the defense turret (http://starbounder.org/Defense_Turret) but on your back. I'll definitely be downloading that minigun mod though.

    Hmmm...your linked info actually states that defense turrets were originally a mod. So if someone wants to try making such a mod, I'll gladly give permission to reuse my minigun artwork.
