Resolved Fine Sand cannot craft into glass

In the nightly build I am trying to craft the coffee mug however I can only acquire [Fine Sand] and as of currently both furnaces require [Sand] to make glass.

 

You'll need to get regular sand to make the glass. Keep looking and you should find some.

 

Far as I can tell, regular sand can't be found on a garden or forest planet. There should, however, be a desert planet in your starter system that has sand aplenty.

 

I was able to find both Fine Sand and Sand on a desert planet quite easily. Here's what they look like so you can distinguish them in the wild (regular sand is darker-looking than fine sand):

If you have trouble distinguishing the two, just go to a desert planet as @Dinoyipi mentioned and start mining the ground, you'll get both kinds quite easily.
