What if, in the final mission in starbound (or late mission), you fought your way through a tentacle-infested earth, either defeating the ruin by worming to the planet's core and killing it form the inside, in the late-mission version beating it would cough up the final through the ark upgrade. coming along would be the 6 leaders you helped throuought the game, fighting with tier 5 or 6 gear, and 3,4 or 5 guards per leader (uscm for esther, floran hunters for nuru,yay nuru, and apex rebels for lana et cetera) if guards or leaders should die they will respawn at the nearest teleporter, witch you (and your troops) will reappear at if you die and re engage, since it's a long mission. It would be amazing if this would be in game, devs, please take note of this
yay! except I've seen the final cutscene, and the leader's don't come after the ending the leaders should join your crew.
