Female Floran Statue!

Tell me if i'm wrong, but there's only one statue of Floran.. and it's a Guy.
It could be cool if the developers make a female statue of Floran as a decoration..

There's some flowers that can have female / male form.

 

Plants don't follow standard definitions of gender/sex, why should Florans?

 

Some flowers can actually have a female form / a male form.
Saying that all flowers are unisex is wrong.
Floran doesn't have the female / male symbol, and it's alright.

 

They where supposed to be unisex but it would have caused problems because every other race can be male/female.

 

There IS male / female flowers in real life, what people don't understand ?
What proof do you have where it says that they were supposed to be like that ?

 

I am not against statues, and yes, they are divided into "men" and "women" (pistils, stamens), but outwardly they are practically the same physique and hairstyles.

Floran are some kind of "humanoid plant", so it can make sense if we can see female characteristics on female Floran.

 

They may be unisex, but the developers made a Female and a Male Floran, and it does make sense if there's a male / female Floran because there is, actually, male / female flowers in our world.
Because we can choose between "male (blue flowers)" and "female (red flowers)" options, it means that they aren't unisex. They are "men" or "women".
We can easily see female characteristics on female Floran in game, just like all the other races.
Though it is a good information (proof) you found there, it is contradictory.
And like I said, it does make sense if there's male / female Floran.

I'm just saying, they can easily change that one-single-word [unisex]. It would still make sense and it won't be contradictory with the game.

 

I really do not feel like getting into an argument with a feminist on such a subject, but I'm just saying that there might be other possibilities than a female gender. For instance, one argument that I brought up during a similar conversation was that the female gendered Floran was never a female in the first place, but a caste of Floran that had evolved for combat, and the breast area was just extra foliage used to protect vital parts of the Floran in a battle. The other races just compared those similarities to their own female gender and jumped to conclusions.

That being said, no matter what either of us thinks, it seems that "Female" florans are still a pretty big part of Floran culture, and I do believe they deserve their own statue.

 

I do know that it's getting out of the road, but seriously.
An extra foliage as a protection [breast] ?? It is clearly for censor it! Isn't obvious ?
If we click on any other race the bouton Female, there's at the bottom left the female Floran.
The Blue flower for the guy and the Red flower for the woman aren't random color.
It's not only a "caste" that like killing and stabbing, it's All the race and They are known like this in the Universe.

I didn't say that. I simply said that there might have been a section of Floran that had particularly evolved towards being the dominant in combat, sort of how ants have worker ants, warrior ants, etc. Regular Florans still like killing/stabbing, but some were evolved for it as hunters for a Floran tribe.

Really though this is a dumb thing to be arguing about and I'm probably going to stop here.

 

I wouldn't mind the statue but arguing this on a platform of gender equality is just... idiotic.

Besides lore existing that refutes the idea of florans having a gender there are tons of other reasons they could look different, like the caste system mentioned. The caste system actually makes a lot of sense. The red flowers are the bad ass warriors and the blue flowers are more suited to being merchants or craftsmen.

Besides that, they could just be two different species that are able to cross breed. That is rare among us meat types but really common for plants. That explains the different look, the unisex thing, and fits because they are plants.

I'm all for equality but this is a game, and in the game it is a different world with different social issues and different societies. It is stupid to expect everything in a game universe to be equal because women aren't treated fair all the time in our universe.
