Kawa updated Felins with a new update entry: BaseMultiplier fix Read the rest of this update entry...
So I've been trying to play with this mod and I get an error: "Fatal Exception caught: (StarException) An error occurred during loading: (JsonException) No such key in Json::get("completionConditions")". (No picture or link because this is my second post...) Any idea why? I'm playing with the mods: •Inventory Menu • Grunt Be Gone • Extended Songbook •Character Creation (Damn emoticons.)
You're playing on Stable, Pleased Giraffe. This is for Unstable, Glad Giraffe. This has been brought up several times.
To be fair, some of the description still says 'Pleased Giraffe compatible' Though the addition of bright colors does make it a bit easier to see that it should probably be run in unstable. Great mod btw. Very thorough.
I'm waiting for the modmaker to snap and replace the entire description with something along the lines of, "Run it in unstable, you fucking fucktards" in large bold red letters. It may not be likely, but I await it for I'm an idealist... and a madman.
So, is there any reliable method of finding those felin settlements mentioned in the description? Planet type, difficulty, stellar system type?
After all that, the new Stable is out. I found one non-breaking bug -- guard dialogues, redownload to fix -- because the first Forest planet I spotted spawned a felin village. In Stable.
I haven't so far found a felin settlement in about 20 different savanna worlds... could it be because the undergroun1a.biome.patch is called underground1a.json in the unpacked resources now? I don't have an intimate working knowledge of how the json patches work... yet.
That would only prevent you from finding the single underground encounter, not the village, which I've confirmed to work just fine. And it seems like you're looking at two different things. Now, I did just find out that my patch is indeed broken, but again, that's not the village. Edit: "/undergroundPlaceables/items/8/microdungeons/-" should be /10/.
I began trying to create a felin colony, and found a small bug, perhaps due to a configuration error. When creating a guard tenant, you can control what tier of equipment that they have by placing furniture of that tier in their home. So, I placed impervium furniture to satisfy that requirement. However, the guard that was spawned appeared to be wearing a red recolor of the iron-tier Wildcat armor, rather than the Leopard armor of the impervium tier.
You're right. I should go over the tenant data, get it nice and up-to-date. I should also go over the recipes I guess. Edit: npctypes and tenants updated. Edit²: Could you redownloading the mod and try replacing your colony deed?
Aye, that fixes it. One additional (small) issue though: the paw print doors don't produce sound anymore.
Hello Kawa what would you say if the Felins be included in the game as the Nova Kids? I would be happy and equal with for you ^_^
@Zauber Paracelsus: door sounds are fixed. I don't think it warrants a redownload, compared to the tenants, so just open objects/felin/felindoor/felindoor.object and change wooddoor_open.ogg and wooddoor_close.ogg with woodendoor_open.ogg and such. It's an older question so I'll answer with a joke. "Wait, when did that happen? Why wasn't I informed of this?" Now unpack the vanilla assets and check species/penguin.species.
