Hello, My friend has a windows 8 and their game crashes every time they try to load the game with this mod. Yes we have followed the guide to try troubleshoot it and yet it still crashes... at the time of writing this i do know you need a character slot extender mod to see the felins race but installed this mod before I installed the Xbawks Character Creator mod and it didn't crash for me... if I could have solutions as to how to fix this? I am trying to play with my friend on a Evolve hosted private server. (yes i have the server stuff squared away but it brings the mods with me when I host the server and my current thought process is that they also need to install these mods to play on the server without being kicked from it)

 

hm... if I may interfere, is he using the newest version? cuz that is nightly only, which means its not compatible with the current stable build. If he is using a stable version... then either the download went wrong, or his starbound install is.

Yes. That's the version it shows me on the latest download, which is for unstable.

 

you will then need a stable version... if memory serves, they are available in the mod overview.

I'd like to request a bit of bug stomping on the Felin pet, as it seems to be incompatible with one of my mods, it says something about pet incompatibility in the monster folder, and incompatibility with your custom rat monster, it crashes my game upon entering into the main menu.

Given that there ISN'T a Felins mod loaded in that log, I'm going to assume you opened a file named starbound.log.1, starbound.log.2, starbound.log.3, starbound.log.4, or starbound.log.5 instead of >just< starbound.log.

Just skimming, I see what may be errors with YourStarboundCrew. Possibly. I don't error log but it looks like errors to me.

 

I know the log drowned it out in all its emoticon-riddled glory, but...

...Felins 3.5.5 is for Pleased Giraffe. Even if Spirited actually loaded it in the first place, it wouldn't work because there's so many differences between Spirited and Pleased. Problem solved.

 

I like this mod, It is very well made. I hope you are planning to update it to "Pleased Giraffe" .
