Simply because it's not an exploit ^^ But AI should be drastically improved

Well maybe you could... I don't know? Not resort to using it?
No? Still gonna use it? Then dont complain about how "easy" this game is.
Because it sure is fine in my books. <difficulty wise>

    Pixel loss isnt bad enough?
    Whats next? Perm character delete?
If you want a game like this go play terraria on hardcore.

SO you can simply convert pixel into item, tp down to the planet, hit the boss, die, spawn back, tp down to the planet, hit the boss, die [....] and defeat the boss without losing absolutely nothing ^^ That shit is actually called ''fighting mechanics''

Stop fucking crying please, they said IT IS BETA, TONS OF BUGS SO SIT DOWN AND WAIT.

  5. This sounds like the stupidest logic ever.

My final advice is to stop playing the game completely until official release, then if you wanna complain everyone will have answer for you other than it's a beta that's a work in progress and quirks like this are expected in the current stage.

I don't think I can continue this thread any further, gooday sir and goodluck.

Use Hamachi, also the server is a little deceptive in it's current workings, it takes quite awhile to load it up, which struck me as odd, all those warning messages you get? That is the serevr loading assests, the warnings are because prices aren't set on most items right now, the server is letting you know that, start the server, chat with friends,g ive it 5-10 minutes it should say Done near the bottom, looking for port forwarding then some other garble, try to connect, do so twice in a row and see what the server says, give it another 3 minutes, then you should be fine. USE HAMACHI. It makes your life much easier.

Which dungeons, which cities on what planets, in what weather conditions? This is a beta, I understand feedback helps, this isn't feedback. Let us, and the devs know WHERE you're having these issues exactly, it could be optimization with weather, it could be optimization on your machine in volcanic planets we don't know if you don't tell us, unless it's every single dungeon and city ever. But with your system specs? I'd recommend deep-cleaning your PC, as it sounds more like a RAM issue, then a game optimization issue.

I've never had this problem at all, don't click the button in the top right so rapidly? Especially if you're having FPS issues, as that may cause frequency delay and the game could be registering multiple clicks at once, so once you port down, the game assumes you've clicked again to port back up. Click, wait a second or two, if the game is lagging that hard, compensate with it until you can fix the lag.

This is due to the overwhelming number of people who complained during the first day and a half saying the game was so incredibly hard and difficult and calling for nerfs, we're all waiting for a difficulty slider of some kind so everyone can be happy, cause otherwise someone is always going to have a complaint on difficulty. But I agree, bosses are pretty easy right now, especially if you cheese them.

What's your RAM? Low FPS issues like you're describing are going to be due to RAM most of the time, I run a good machine myself, but if I don't reboot my PC once a week and clear out some old garbage files and stuff, games will run slow, this is because your computer doesn't have the FREE RAM to actually run it anymore. Windows 7 Caches RAM in a very poor manner and it can cause very good machines to run poorly if they aren't rebooted and kept up with constantly. That's poor programming from microsoft more then Chucklefish, again with your system specs, it's an issue on your end, I have a friend who runs the same exact graphics card, though he does use an Intel processor, he has no issues at all, even on desert planets when we're mass-cascading. Try to free up some RAM, run less programs, reboot your PC and then start Starbound immediately after, see if it helps the FPS issues.

    Edit:
No, some people are happy with it, a lot of people aren't. This argument will always be split, some people enjoy a more challenging game others do not, he has every right to his opinion of it being to easy, just as everyone else had their right of it being to hard, we can all agree the devs seriously need to work on a difficulty slider to stop so many people complaining about difficulty though, as it's just a back and forth battle right now.

P.S.- I have a lot of RAM in my PC, like an excessive amount, and I ran a server with 14 people with no FPS or lag issues, I am really guessing it's a RAM issue with the OP. Most people don't realize how much RAM is used in programs, especially games like this, even with the 32 GBs of RAM I have, I still have to reboot once a week minimum or my PC will start to freeze up, Starbound is pretty RAM intensive server-side.

I'm not going to lock this topic, but I am now watching it. All I have to say is don't get mad at video games or I actually will start deleting/warning posts. This is a video game, you should have fun playing it and have fun talking about it. There is absolutely no reason to actually get upset.

    DotBeta likes this.

My computer is over 3.5 years old and plays the game very smoothly - the only time I notice any slowdown is in large villages. I expect there are some issues with particular driver/hardware combinations and nothing to do with the actual power of the hardware.

Well, I'm in a wait mode for now because I think the game needs more, and it pains me to see the devs wasting time on mod support when I don't give a crap about how amateurs mangle games and would rather see them spending time on the game itself, but...

...seems like I'm playing a different game than the OP for the most part.

One thing that's consistent is that people don't seem to get that this game is still very much in development.

I'm glad your main point is just an abuse of game mechanics to claim the game is too easy. :p

You didn't pay for the beta. You paid for the finished game. The beta (And the soundtrack) are just additional goodies you get. The Beta is just something you are able to get into for paying for the game when it is released.

Agree with you, but you understand no one like to read people saying ''it's just a beta!'' when I know ''it's just a beta''... I am just reporting my isssues to check if someone else got the same. You can delete all the posts of people saying ''it's a beta'' and all my answers to those posts, I don't care and would be better, so I won't have to answer again to such comments. Thanks and sorry for ''bad language'', but many replies really drive me mad...

    I will try, thanks.

Every dungeon, and with dunegon I mean, for exemple, prisons in the desert, cities in the plains, apes' facilities and so on. Weather seems not relevant, while audio is! Deactivating audio always takes to higher fps... but I haven't solved this problem yet.

've never had this problem at all, don't click the button in the top right so rapidly? No fps issues and no lag on my ship, all works fine! But if I push E on the platform or the button on the right side far from the platform i get tp to the ship again, for many and many times. Sometimes I have to push it for many minutes before landing on the surface.

I think RAM is OK. I have 4 GB DDR3 ram and all the other games (also games which requires much higher specs) run fine. If I log out starbound and launch crysis 2 it works fine. As previously stated, deactivating audio strangely increases fps. I don't think the issue is related to my cfg. I know 4 GB is not too much today: I don't want to host a 20 people server, but at least playing decently in single player...
Pain with multiquote! Try to read it this way, sorry -.-

One issue is solved. Game can't run if steam runs in compatibility mode. And sometimes steam runs in compatibility mode for unknown reasons. I just followed these steps and now it works for me, on my new PC

''Try looking st the sticky here
    http://steamcommunity.com/app/211820/discussions/0/630800443032730550/

more specificly the low FPS section about Steam possibly running in compatibility mode. i followed these instructions and it fixed my issues. steam was running in compatibility mode for windows xp on my computer for some reason.

ill put the steps here anyway.

    1. Close your game and quit Steam.
    2. Go to steam folder (for example: C:\Program Files\steam) and set no compatibility mod on your Steam.exe in options (if you having any difficulties with this step - try to pick steam.exe up first by pressing on it with your left mouse button)
    * If you can't change compability mod on step 2 - folow next steps. (if you can
change compability mod - proceed to step 7)
    3. Press windows "start" button, find and open "run" window (or just simple press button with windows logo on your keyboard+R) and type "regedit"
    4. Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers and delete any entry with path to steam, if there is no recordings here - proceed to the next step.
    5. Repeat step 5 with: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
    6. Repeat step 2.
    7. Launch Steam and play Starbound.''
