February 2 - More Bugfixes

Can we please, please get some multiplayer fixes?

Most notably the broken ban feature that causes the handshake failure and prevents ANYBODY from connecting if there's an entry in the ban table in the config file?

Please?

 

This update bugged the Mine boss fight in phase 3.

The lasers were pointing up and down and I was in the middle on the east/west side and I was taking damage as if I was standing directly in a laser.

Made the fight impossible and I had to cheat in Perfect Armor and still nearly died but at least managed to progress.

Might want to double check your laser graphics loc versus where the damage loc is actually taking place.......

I think this has been in for a while, not just from this update. At random times when I'm doing that boss (helping my friends) I get hit from "something." Far from impossible though, just annoying.

 

And it only took 760 mb to download.

 

Mine only downloaded 64mb. Not sure why yours was so large...\

However, my wifes laptop dl'd the full 700. Wonder why so inconsistent.

What containers changed? I checked all mine and the 24 ones are all still 24. And the 16 ones are 16.

 

Mine was also 760MB.

Plugging it again; fix the server ban issue. It is game-breaking, literally.

 

This is slightly unrelated, but there is a bug (at least I HOPE its a bug) where any NPC I spawn (guards not included) they spawn completely naked, not sure if anyone else is getting this but its happened to me ever since the winter update.

 

9 storage space for lab lockers is an overkill. Given a regular chest contains 16, reducing lab locker to 12 is more than enough.

When will we be getting fixes to UI windows so that they close with the same button pressed, and the multiple open container windows? I'd have suspected they'd be in this patch.

 

Not happy about the nerfed storage at all.

 

Didn't we JUST increase storage lockers? Why decrease them?? My ship is overflowing with stuff and 24 slot lockers was a huge improvement..

What's the plan with storage for the future of Starbound?

 

By the time it finishes downloading I'm going to have to download a new patch.

 

Like, how nerfed are we talking? I'm snail-pace downloading the update at the moment.

I literally just redid all my storage last night. The lunar lockers held 24 slots, so I replaced Alllllllll my 16 slot chests on my ship. If I load right now my ship will literally explode and I'll have no other option than to come back and size 24 bold red text all over this board just like 409 on page 2.

 

I like the addition of lots of new back item to find but having more functionals would be very good. Also why do Snow Pants and Bioluminescent Pants both create Glow status? One should be different
