Suggestion Featured Mods

On the mods page there are at about five mods listed at the top as "featured mods." For the year and a half I have been on the forums I had seen the same ten mods get rotated through randomly. I looked into this and I found the old "Featured Mods Nomination Thread," and the last time a new mod was featured was three and a half years ago. I would love to see this feature in use again.

One thing I noticed about the nominations thread is that it did not see too much attention. I think that could easily be fixed by placing a link to the thread on the mod repository page. Something as simple such as a link that says "want to see a mod get featured?" (or something less wordy) would probably go a long way cause some more activity on the thread.
