Favorite race? (and why?)

I played a Hylotl just to see the flavor text, but when I saw them, I started to gush over them, since they're FASHIONISTAS, though I can't wait for Novakids to come out due to their style~ and SPACE TRAINS.

 

I enjoy the Apex most. However, I quite like the Avian and Hylotl aesthetics. And, I suppose, the Novakid. But I'd like to see more of their ingame stuff.

 

Mine's glitch, I've always like medieval stuff. However @XMatrix2X makes me wanna check out the hyltols.

 

I expected a wipe to happen early on, and didn't want to get too attached to a character. So I chose the race that I thought sounded the least interesting of all: Floran. But now that I've played as a Floran thru Gamma quadrant, I've grown quite attached to their peculiar speaking style and funny item descriptions, though I might be a bigger fan of their building styles if they came with a Fred Flintstone car and pet dinosaur

P.S. A Floran in bandit headgear looks pretty damn cool, by the way.

 

Florans, already thought they looked pretty cool, and then the gif that was shown of the floran with the teeth pretty much sealed the deal for me. It's not often I get to play as a crazed tribal race set on destruction and murder.

 

Humans: I can totally relate.

 

I haven't read any of the hylotl lore. Just that travelling hylotl who is friends with Greenfinger. I guess Greenfinger is the most lovable of the florans though.

 

Apex, love the snarky comments about their own living conditions and government, plus dystopian aesthetics!

Hylotls because i'm a closet weeaboo and i enjoy japanese themed architecture (p even though hylotl settlements aren't implemented yet.

 

Humans, because i'm biased like that.

 

Well, I only have experience with a human so far. I love seeing the other race's reactions. The florans seem really friendly and... pretty eager to mate with me often. I can't wait to play other races to see the differences.

 

Also, every single investigate option is quite funny. My favorite has to be "Seduction. This is one fine piece of hardware" or something to that effect. It is rather funny, at least to me.

 

Greenfinger is a rather well-educated Floran, and I think they were trying to unstrain the relationship between Florans and other species.

 

Floran. Ssstab, kill.

 

I like playing as the glitch, always been into cyborg related stuff, and they're as close as I can get to that. But I really like the Hylotl ships...

 

I've been looking forward to Novakids since I heard they were going to be in the game. Something about being a gasbag, spastic, space cowboy just really appeals to me.

I am going with human it's are my favorite race.

 

I was going more for a lore standpoint. Like in the story of Starbound, which race team are you? Not who are you playing.
