Favorite and Nickname Planets

I love the scientific names of the planets and that a player can go anywhere. I feel like the scientific names can get really confusing though. Also, with so much exploration and building, I can get my planets on different star systems mixed up. I would love a feature to have a way to favorite your planets and give planets nicknames.

 

Perhaps a way of flagging or marking the map would be awesome too!

 

Exactly. Just today, I was playing my Hyoltl character and found a planet with an Avian village and thought, "I should have my Avian character build a house here." But it was far off where any of my other characters would go. I could have written down the coordinates or something but it would be nice if there was a way to do that in-game.

 

I think they're going to add (or at least thinking of adding) planet bookmarks

 

You took my suggestion, but yeah this is a great idea I have so many planets I think are cool and build on or have a lot of minerals but I can only have one home planet.

 

Planet bookmarks are in Nightly, but the home planet feature has been removed. I'm not sure if they're thinking of bringing it back, since it would require a bit of a UI rework.

 

Good to know it is coming but I can tell I will favorite too many and lose the ones I like lol
