Resolved Fatal Exception thrown during startup. Game Pass / Windows 10 Edition.

    It appears that the app doesn't have the permissions that it needs to create some directories needed to function. The game does not request admin access during install. The game does not start. No log is created that I can locate.

    Resolved; Documents folder was absent.

    Hi! Any possibility you could explain how you got this fixed, im having the same issue and i've tried to create the folder myself but thats not worked.

    For my self , i removed one drive

    The game does not properly understand the location of the Documents library with OneDrive installed. The first launch the game tries to create a folder under c:\Users\%user%\Documents. With OneDrive installed and the Documents folder set to synchronize, the library gets moved, in my case to c:\Users\%user%\OneDrive\Documents but it could be anywhere. Creating the folder c:\Users\%user%\Documents manually got me past the fatal exception.
