    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain\memory(223,4): error X5200: (Third source param) Invalid register number: 38. Max allowed for this type is 31.

    So when I tried playing this game again after a while I got this error, I have no clue what to do or why it started. But I have played this game, I have 15 or so hours on it so I know it should work can anyone help me?

      I'm getting the same thing. would it be possible to downgrade a version?

        Downgrading isn't possible. it is just the new patches

          I just posted a response to this error on another thread so I will just copy and paste here:
          1.2.0+ uses GM:S which I presume uses higher version of shader mode which has a higher hardware requirement. Hence the error.
