1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help Fatal D/C's

    At this point, being the first few hours, bugs are bound to come up, but none seem as multiplayer-gamebreaking as this particular bug-a-boo.
    So far, among my friends, two of us have hosted a server. Why is this when it takes one to play? Because once a player disconnects to the server, they from that point on (when trying to connect to that particular server) the client freezes upon attempts to connect and they receive an error "Client connect failed! Error connecting to '<insert ip here>' port '21025'".

    Upon creation of a new server, the players can once again join together and play, but never in the previous player's server.

    Thus the question comes up, is our group of friends the only one experiencing this bug? Has anyone else figured out a way around this? Is this something that can be fixed with server config files?

    As an update
    The problem was somehow fixed after editing the "universe_server.config" file.
    In the file, there is a line that says ""clientWaitLimit" : 40000,"
    Increasing the amount of time on the wait limit seemed to fix this issue.
    Its possible that this was based on time, and had nothing to do with the line, but the problem is at least temporarily solved.
