I looked around and i coudnt find anything about it but....

I tested out dirts for farming

dry dirt when you till it with a hoe
stays dry even when you water it

dirt when tilled is at first dry then you water it and it is wet until the plant grows

    So i tested out mud

    CONSTANTLY wet immediately when tilled

i haven't tried growing anything in it yet but i think tilled mud is basically auto-farming?
does the mud dry out after a while or do the crops just keep on growing

or is their nutrients or something involved

    UPDATE

mud does run out of water

the original first till that you make on it is wet immediately still

once plants are placed they will take away the first free watering

not sure if mud is better than dirt however

    more tests are needed

I have not done any farming with mud, but given your notes on it, I suspect its a good method to skip the first watering step, once. Other than that I imagine there is not much more difference to the type of soil you use for your crops, other than looks, there are no nutrition factors involved on your produce.
