Farm animals?

    I love the idea of crops being in the game, but in order to be a proper farmer, shouldn't we also have farm animals such as chickens, cows, pigs, (insert edible alien animal here), etc? Can the game engine handle persistent creatures (like when you leave to another planet and return)?

    Has this been discussed or announced in any form?

    This has come up a couple of times in discussion but I don't think I've seen it formally suggested. There hasn't been any word from the developers on if this is something they'd like to include.

    I fully support!! I think having farm animals is a great idea to go with crops and make a full on farm!

    i'd enjoy milking /meat farming some animals. find the least hostile planet you can and just relax after a nice day out with your pet Draciolex(i am too stronk with made up names) on the porch.
