Fan-Made Generated Monster Generator... Thing.

Is there any way for you to make it so we could do it ourselves, as well?

 

I'm really glad somebody made this.
I was hoping either a fan-made or official monster maker was made.
Hopefully when the game comes out they will give us the monster generator?

 

Wait, why is every creation in pretty much just grey and green? :/

 

He said he had not yet figured out how to change the colors dynamicly with Game Maker.

I have started development on a game in a team of three, plus its exam time. I don't have any free time.

Hey to change the colors use image_blend.

so with the sprite you can do image_blend = c_red; or image_blend = c_white (blank original colors)

try it out. You can also use it in draw_sprite_ext()

It doesn't work too well, it depends if the colored parts are separate from the main part too. If not you can split them and then blend the colored half.

 

Yeah, I considered doing it that way. I will give it another try when I have time, just really busy recently.
