So my idea was maybe you land on a desert planet that has dust storms severely limiting your view but not the native monsters forcing you to go into a cave or dig underground or there could be some sort of a EMP storm that makes it so you cant beam up to the safety of your ship and knocks out your health sensors or something the possibility are endless.
