Hay so i got my own armour i modded. I don't really change anything to the looks generally just the stats. I have exactly 9000000000000000000 hp on each part of my armour >Head>Legs>Chest>Wings and and the same defence. I don't get how people just come in, with some hacked probably weapon and still kill me. My weapons which i set to do the same damage as hp i Have which is the 9 with 18 Zeros but on a other person with the same modded armour it does about 120 Damage and if i try make it any large it jut turns into one of those green blocks. Could someone tell me a code i could put in weapons to say pierce armour or up the damage with it turning into a green block? Or at least tell me how people have much powerful weapons

It's entirely possible that their OP weapons are more OP than your OP armor, OP. That, or they're using some kind of insta-kill coding. No idea.

Do you know the code? Cause they also had a weapon that only did half my hp or technically an 8th of my hp since i was only wearing one part of my armour. I seriously can't see how they're weapons can be so OP. Mine turn into green blocks the second i go past the19 digit limit.

technically the "start" is not a part of the code, it's just to start the game back up :p

Starbound uses long signed 32 bit integers for most of their stats (if certain error I've seen are to be believed). These have a maximum value of −2,147,483,648 to +2,147,483,647. If you write a number larger than this, weird stuff ca happen, like the stat rolling back around, conversely if your number is smaller - say, 900,000,000 - it's possible for the attacker to have a much higher number(up to 2,147,483,647 damage) and still one shot you.

I'd appreciate a link to the server you play on so I can avoid it with extreme prejudice.

No actually the number −2,147,483,648 isn't real. If you upgrade a weapon to over 2,147,483,648 the stats will simply say −2,147,483,648. In actual fact it's whatever you set it to. That's like a cover so the computer doesn't need to think abotu it too much. Still wondering anyone know how to get it to 24 digit or Hp attack or defence? As well as an armour penetration code?

Makes sense. The damage values in the JSON files appear to be in float format, but the maximum number displayed in the game appears to be a 32 bit signed long integer. Likely where the discrepency comes from. Floats can be much much larger number than integers

Hay one more thing have you heard of the spite mod? A fairly straight forward mod with OP stats in the armour that comes with some pretty cool weapons. For some reason when i'm wearing it the damage of all my weapons are higher. Is it the armour? I'm not even sure.

Well thanks do you know any modders? i'd like to talk to one, i've found out what it was, "Kind : "powerboost" was set in the armour. I'd like to ask a modder is there's a way to set the "amount" it adds. So far when i've tried it has turned into a green block.

I'd suggest making a thread in the forum's modding help section to ask. Probably worth doing a search before you do, in case there is already a thread covering the same topic.

Yes, under /assets/augments/powerboost.augment - the contents of that file controls the size and nature of the bonus provided. (0.8 is default), however, no guarantee editing that will work in multiplayer since the gear simply references the power boost augment, and specific details of augments are likely referenced locally.

...there is a "ringofpower" augment however that renders you invisible and (I think) immortal <.<

"i used my modded weapons ,9000000000, etc on multiplayer and people STILL kill me"
chucklefish, consider having a really strong ban system or anti mod or either don't ever release pvp sector
please, i beg you, not even on beta, i don't want this to be a "who easily adds more 0 in da wepn" war
and im calling all the devs on this one please listen to me
    Just. Don't.
Unless you have already figured out how to HEAVILY prevent it

Scrappington has a point, though. If modded weapons become commonplace on MP servers, that'll restrict most players to whitelisted servers with proactive and unbiased moderators. In my experience, those are pretty rare.
