Several years ago we had a Fridge mod that offered much more refrigerator space--which let you accurately determine what ingredients you had, to make all the many recipes in the game. Alas, that Fridge mod, and its successor, were not updated over the last few years, so I'm requesting a new mod like either of these which will work with SDV and SMAPI in their current states.
