how do they exactly work?

 

Every race has an "emote" sheet that allows them to make various emotions such as smiling, crying, being surprised, etc. I intended this for the Novakid, whose emote layer is blank aside from crying, but I decided to quickly set it up for everyone.

In case you're asking how to perform them, the arrow keys are bound to four emotes by default. Saying certain things in chat will trigger other emotes.

 

If on a server, does everyone has to have this mod? Or is it only client side?

 

Completely client-side. You are the only one who can see the mod's effect, as it only changes how your client displays a character's emotions.

 

What are all the emotes you can make?

 

Just wondering, is it possible to have both, modded, and non-modded emotes? I.E: Laughing will do both the old laugh animation, and the mod's laughing icon.

 

Totally! I'll try and fit that together when I have time tomorrow.

 

I also believe this would be a nice addition. It would only add to the awesomeness of this mod.

 

So, was the idea of combining both vanilla, and the mod's emotes together at all possible?

This is very nice, but is there any chance you could add NPC behaviors to this? Such as vomiting? Thanks
