-The transitions between 2 biomes (snowy to forest for example) need to be smoother -Bad performances when riding the overbike -Optimization still not complete (but very good at this state) A problem that I get is that when I hit an ennemy, he only reacts like, 1 second later, the damage is not instantanly dealed. But in general, everything looks fine
Looking the same and being the same are different things. They are randomized, but they use the same parts.
im more so sad about danny then anything and im fine with it being mostly female i just thought when i first came in to the outpost that it was equal male and female so i counted them and i was just wondering about it and like i said i put 3 people in the female category based on look and personality stance if i where to put those 3 in male cause they also could be male then the numbers would be more alone the lines of 11 females 11 males which means the outpost would be equal parts male and female like i originally thought
The dungeons are built in the exact same layout all the time, just with random loot and random NPCs. The only real "random" dungeon is a village. And I don't mean "random" either. There is a difference between random and procedural generation. I meant that there should be dungeons with a completely procedural layout every time. Same blocks, same furniture, different room placement.
like the ocean temple in minecraft unlike the other temples the ocean temple is built like a maze with the way to get to the loot or the boss being changed a little bit between every temple
mhhh currently no performance gain https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X8B7OJNbZOXAVdVoMv0qOQMhqUETwsz8IZEApbHrsAQ/edit?usp=sharing
Agreed, it's a cool idea that could use some work. That's the point of it being on the nightly though, so we can point this sort of thing out.
The nightly launcher won't even launch for me since the last little update. And if I go to my steam folder and try to launch starbound.exe under "win64" it just immediately crashes. I don't even get to see the chuckling fish.
Hello dear game developers Starbaund. I have a proposition for you, since you are in version Glad Geraffe added HoverBikes and Boats, then how about adding in the next update Summing Boats that we could move more quickly across the ocean floor, as well its ability to ostolnye your discretion. And sorry for my terrible English.
I hope that terraforming makes it into this game. i think it will offer a great incentive to see the area around you change from your work.
I really like the idea of having multiple biomes in a planet even if the contrast between them are drastic, but for that to don't feel so odd i would suggest that the biomes to be created in some specific combinations, like: a volcanic surronded by a forest or schorched biome, or a tundra followed by an arid one, and so on. Also a parallex transition would be nice too, but a don't know if that is something easy or currently possible to do. Anyways nice job.
What if during warps to other areas or planets you could encounter trade vessels or pirate ships, you could choose to attack, flee, or trade/work something out. The cannons in the front of the ship would actually work and you could upgrade them. What if you could raid ships and loot all their materials?
Ya, I was a bit disappointed but I with the launcher and 64-bit executable failing to even run, I imagine there could be any number of other issues with this build, at least I'm hoping that's the case
i'm not new to the game but the ship ai don't give one in the actual nightly... it say's only that core fragments are needed and i can talk to the ai .. but nothing about the mattermanipulator
